The Rangers - a LotRO kinship [EN-RP] Laurelin

The goal of this Kinship is to increase the fun of playing LOTRO and to do things together you cannot do alone. We value a certain degree of maturity of our members, though that does not mean we have an age-restriction (current age range 15-55 years, most members 18+). We value a relaxed atmosphere in our OOC kinchat, which we like to keep free of an overdose of SMS/texting and internet slang. We expect our members to have a friendly, helpful attitude: to help you fellow kinmates and get help yourself another time. We appreciate craftsmen who craft things for their kinmates (after supply of the required materials), so you don't have to pay insane prices at AH. We expect new members to be motivated to join the kin and to contribute to the kin with their presence.

Members and Ranks

If you accept the invitation to our Kinship by one of the Officers, you will start as a Recruit. If you act as an active and helpful member, attending several meetings and kinship events, you will advance to the rank of Acolyte (Student). Once you have proven yourself you will be appointed to a full Member, the rank of Ranger. Occasionally, new Officers (Provosts) will be installed, generally Rangers who have proven invaluable for the Kin.
Promotions are performed during a ceremony at the weekly Kinmeet on Thursdays.

When you become a member, you choose a main character. This character will be eligible for promotions. Rangers are encouraged to bring alts to the kin, as long as they are actively played. The alt characters will automatically receive the kinship rank of the main character.

Players who do not play any of their characters for a prolonged time will be dismissed from the kinship to allow new players to join the kin. We have a player cap of 60 players.
