Kinship Activities
In the Rangers, we have many organized activities. Central in the planning of these activities is the Raid&Event Calendar, which allows us to plan and sign up for events in advance. As a Ranger member, you'll get the priviliges to suggest and plan events/quests/runs/RP yourself. However, be sure they do not interfere with our regular events, which are described below! The next upcoming events are displayed in the menu on the left. The Rangers have an active Questing/Raiding alliances with other kinships, most importantly the official Horn&Banner raiding alliance with the kinships The Last Banner and Bractwo Zmierzchu. The events in these alliances are often planned through the same Raid&Event Calendar.
There is absolutely no obligation to particiate in all activities we offer, though we enjoy having as much of our members as possible around in our activities. New to certain aspects of the game? Give it a try! You'll probably be surprised.
DATE: every Thursday
TIME: 20.00 hrs UK time/ 21.00 hrs CET
LOCATION: at Rangers Kinhouse, 5 Waterbank Road, Talad Ring, Falathlorn homesteads
REMARKS: held in-Character (i.e. roleplaying)
GOALS: Promotions, roleplaying (casual/social - and sometime new chapters of kinwide RP plots are played), redistribution of recipies/items from kinchest, announcements, etc.
After the kinmeet, we ofeten group up to do "Request a Quest" runs. Sometimes we have themed kinmeets, like the Tales&Songs Night, where several members perform. Occasionally, new kinwide RP plots are launched and played during the kinmeet, like the Key of Union plot in the past.
ENDGAME QUESTING
DATE: announced in raid and event planner, multiple runs a week
GOAL: to make all endgame runs, raids and quest available with kinship groups
We have two major endgame questing activities: Radiance Night every tuesday evening and Raiding with the Horn&Banner Raiding Alliance.
Radiance Night: During Radiance night, we help our kinship members to obtain endgame armour, needed for the big raids, by doing the Moria/Lothlorien/Mirkwood instances and run the Helegrod/Annuminas scaled instances to obtain armour with the radiance property.
Horn&Banner Raiding Alliance:Together with kinship The Last Banner, The Rangers are the founders and the home of the Horn&Banner raiding alliance with kinship Bractwo Zmierzchu as a third participant. Currently this raiding alliance covers all major ingame raids (12 and 24 man). We have a kinship Ventrilo server to communicate during these raids and there is a custom userchannel ingame·through which we are in direct contact with our allies. The Horn&Banner raiding alliance is a casual raiding alliance which does not use·a point-based·system for loot distribution. instead, there is a social distribution (one won roll per run for major loot, after 5 unsuccessful runs a piece can be claimed).
Currently there is an alternating raiding schedule (2 nights/week) with Barad Guldur on the one week, and Dar Narbugud/Wather/other in the other week.

LOCATION: starting at at Rangers Kinhouse, Falathlorn homesteads
GOALS: help Kinmembers with the Epic Quests (Book-Quests, Vol I and II books) and other high-level and fellowship quests. Which book will be run depends on what members want. Generally, we'll do the low level books first. We'll help you to get the white horsey (reward for finishing the Vol I epic books).

GOAL: to complete Virtue Deeds (like Valour +1) together, especially the slayer deeds (kill xxx Orcs).
DATE: Random or pre-announced
GOAL: Develop personal and kinwide roleplaying plotlines.
Kinmeets are the weekly light roleplaying event, and they take place every thursday. Next to that, our RP core team organizes roleplaying events now and then. There is also space to support and play personal RP plotlines.
In the past, we have organized·big action roleplaying events (24 participants). With support from game masters (GMs) a certain RP plotline will be played, like for example the "A Call for Aid: Saving Alanlasse" open RP event in January 2009. We had a second follow-up open RP event in May 2009: "A Call for Aid II: Saving Alancala". The lastest active kinwide RP plot is "The key of Union" (started October 2009). Members of the Rangers are free to start new kinwide RP plots.
The kinmeet is always held in character, and we are allying with several other players and kinships to increase roleplaying possibilities for those who want. We have a dedicated subforum for the interaction with non-Rangers roleplayers.

MONSTERPLAY/CREEPTRIBE "Azurz Grush"
DATE: on most sundays organized raids (20 hrs UK time/ 21 hrs CET), but smaller team runs on-the-go as well, depending on the need.
GOAL: to offer organized monsterplay (PvMP) for those interested in the unscripted battles of PvMP
Azurz Grush means "Killing Blow" in Black Speech. Since we like to offer all aspects of the game to our members, we have initiated a creepside Tribe to do organized Monsterplay (PvMP) in Ettenmoors for those who want to experience it. Every sunday we will have monsterplay night, where we will have a big creeptribe raid. Those who want to try monsterplay will get a guided tour and will be able to set their first steps in Ettenmoors in a group with friends. The tribe adheres to strict PvMP honour codes: corpsejumping and camping are strictly forbidden. Ofcourse, a bit of monsterplay RP is also allowed. Furthermore, there can be other activities, such as:

Parties
Participation in RP events of friended kinships
Festival visits
etc.
which may or may not be announced beforehand.
