User Blogs added to the-rangers.net
We've added a new Blog feature for Rangers members on this website. We have implemented a blog function to the Joomla! CMS-engine, which allows members to blog about your LOTRO character and other members to comment on the blog entries. You can blog about LOTRO OOC-ly, but it would be great if most of your blogs would be in-character. Want to use this function? Here is how to activate it.
How to start Blogging on your LOTRO Character:
- Register on this website - note this is a separate engine compared to the forum, you can use the same details however.
- After registration and activation of your account by an email-link, you can login and you'll see a special user menu.
- You can start blogging right away, by clicking "Add entry to your Blog"
- For an overview of latest Blogs, see the link at the bottom of each page. You can also get an overview of posts per Member via the main menu > The Rangers > Members > Rangers IC Blogs
- Only registered users will be able to reply or add comments to blog entries
- Your account creation will be reviewed, and after upgrade of priviliges, you will also be able to add new articles to the website and add events to the "Upcoming Events" list

PM - there is one known bug: upload of custom user avatars is not possible for blogging at the moment.
